Judge.me reviews

Overview

Display product star ratings and customer reviews on your storefront using Judge.me with this theme's built-in rating support.

Prerequisites

1. Install the Judge.me Product Reviews app from the Shopify App Store.
2. In Judge.me admin, enable Shopify product reviews metafield sync so ratings populate reviews.rating and reviews.rating_count on each product.

Setup

Product cards (collection grids)

1. Open Online Store → Customize.
2. Go to Theme settings → Product Card.
3. Enable Show product rating.
4. Set Review star color to match your brand.

Ratings appear on product cards when metafield data exists. Products without reviews show nothing.

Product page — stars near title or price

1. Open the Product template in the theme editor.
2. In the product section, click Add block.
3. Add Product rating and place it between the title and price blocks (or wherever you prefer).
4. Optionally toggle Show review count.

You can also add Judge.me's Preview badge app block in the product section if you prefer Judge.me's styled badge.

Product page — full review list

1. On the Product template, click Add section.
2. Add the Apps section (below product details is typical).
3. In the Apps section, click Add block and choose Judge.me Review widget.

Star color

Set Review star color under Theme settings → Product Card. This controls filled stars on product cards and the native Product rating block.

Tips

• Ratings only appear after Judge.me has synced metafields and the product has at least one review.
• The theme does not embed store-specific Judge.me block IDs in templates — add app blocks through the theme editor after installing the app.
• Check a collection page and a product page after setup to confirm stars and the review widget render correctly.
